Creative Futures new project for young people who are unable to go out due to Coronavirus
The garden kits:
We want to send out ‘Get set.. garden!’ kits to young people in Leicester, which contain everything needed to start a mini garden indoors. Choose from
- Spicy with chili seeds
- Tasty with salad leaves
- Calming with chamomile and mint seeds
Share your successes
We will add progress sharing space, where you can share their achievements. We will be on hand to offer support and advice growing and on coping with the restrictions as well as help with mental health issues
We are delighted to announce we have been awarded a grant from the Police Crime Commissioners Prevention Fund We will be tackling issues around knife crime, carrying out workshops in New parks area at New parks boys club and New parks adventure playground.
Our workshops will be aimed at 10-16 year olds. We are delighted to be supported by PCSO Eden Gilbert Williams is part of the local policing team for New Parks. She will be attending some of the sessions in uniform.
We are also pleased to announce that the Territorial Army will be attending one of our workshops, bringing with them trucks and uniforms to inspire young people.
