Plot to Pot  New Parks.

Plot to Pot allotments is a community allotment

open to all in New Parks.

I have been helping run the Plot to Pot allotment project or six years, funded by Awards For All for the past two years. We meet weekly on Tuesday afternoons at the allotment, with the poly-tunnel and cosy shed providing indoor spaces if the weathers inc.lement. We meet and char, grow fruit and vegetables, relax and laugh and share our troubles and solutions

We have just been awarded Reaching Communties Funding from the National Lottery so that we can run the allotment for the next three years

Growing fun at Plot to Pot

Our aim is to provide gardening sessions and creative workshops to help with mental health by providing relaxation and a welsome respite, and to help people feel more connected.

Many of our participants have age related mobility issues, so in June of 2019 we flattened and extended the path to help with wheelchair and walking stick access and added waist height raised beds made from recycled materials saved from landfill
